　　the blackhawk 20-pin isolation adapter is a device that connects between your jtag emulator and the jtag connector on your target board. the adapter is designed to minimize and protect connected devices (pc/emulator/target) from ground loop voltage, harsh environments and new, untested designs.

　　the isolation adapter supports 3.3-5.0v targets and includes compact ti 20-pin jtag connections. we also offer a?14-pin ti version (1.8v-5.0v).

　　the isolation adapter is a straight forward, easy to use product. just connect it between your emulator's jtag socket and the target board's header. these adapters can be used with most jtag emulators, including xds100, xds110, xds200, xds510, xds560 and xds560v2 models.

　　blackhawk offers two models. a standard ti 14-pin jtag version and compact ti 20-pin version. both models are identical except for the physical jtag connections. select the model that fits your needs. these adapters can also be used with a pin converter in the event that your jtag connections do not match up identically with either of these models.

　　the adapter does expect the target board to provide up to 100 ma of 3.3 or 5.0 volts on jtag pin 5 (tvd) to power the adapter's components.
