　　the opt evaluation modules (optevms) areplatforms for evaluating the performance of the optlight sensors. texas instruments has multiple familiesof light sensor parts. each of these parts is a lightsensor integrated circuit (lc) with a digital output andworks with the l2c protocol; making the device anexcellent choice for many applications. the optevmis a platform for evaluating the performance of themultiple light sensor lc under various conditions. theoptevm consists of two pcbs. the first pcb isthe optmb evm board that communicates with thecomputer, provides power, and sends and receivesappropriate digital signals. the second pcb is theoptcb coupon board, which contains the light sensorlc for evaluation and support circuitry.
